I wouldn’t call myself a die-hard country fan, but when a friend sent the link to this Tim McGraw song, the title Diamond Rings and Old Barstools was enough to earn a listen. The song compares concepts that aren’t well suited for each other as a metaphor for an incompatible relationship.
